The graphical planning study below is composed of colored adhesive
film overlaid on a plan of West Campus buildings, roads, and topographic
lines. While not dated, the plan depicts ideas first drawn in the early 1960s
and then later included in the 1970
Campus Development Plan - the extension of Howard Street north to West Main
Street, with West Michigan Avenue terminating in cul-de-sacs on the east and
west sides of the campus building core, and the building footprints for Rood
and Everett Halls.
