
The 2000 Western Michigan University Master Plan is the result of
two years of meetings, interviews, and research, overseen by the University’s
Department of Campus Planning, conducted by master plan consultants
SmithGroup JJR, Inc., and involving University faculty, staff, students
and alumni as well as representatives of the City of Kalamazoo, neighborhood
groups, and interested members of the community.
The 2000 Master Plan is described in the Brochure, “A
View to the Future”.
