PROJECT SUMMARY:
With the help
of a grant from the State of Michigan, the
university reconfigured Oliver Street, the campus road
that runs between Stadium and Oakland Drives.
The project took place in
three stages over the summer of 2008 and was completed
in August, in time for the start of fall semester.
The total scope of the project
included a new roadway and sidewalks, bicycle
paths, and reconstructed parking lots.
Also included in the project
was a stormwater management plan to prevent
building and parking lot run-off from entering
the Arcadia Creek watershed. |
